Рецензия посвящена книге о выдающемся отечественном педагоге, германисте и медиевисте Борисе Ивановиче Пуришеве (1903–1989), который на протяжении 60-летней работы в стенах старейшего Московского педагогического государственного университета (МПГУ) воспитал целую плеяду филологов – учёных и педагогов высшей школы.

This is the review of the book dedicated to the 110 birth anniversary of the outstanding philologist Boris I. Purishev (1903-1989). He was not only a researcher - Germanist and medievalist, but a Teacher first of all. For 60 years he worked at the first educational institution in Russia – Moscow State Pedagogical University and has educated and trained the whole pleiad of philologists, researchers and higher school pedagogues.
