В статье предложен опыт статистического анализа, направленного на определение роли и места университета в структуре потребительского рынка города. В контексте концепции «университетского города», разрабатываемой в УГТУ, сделана попытка обрисовать экономическое измерение этого тезиса. С помощью лонгитюдного социологического исследования определена примерная структура потребления студенчества. Полученные материалы стали основой для сравнительного анализа с данными официальной статистики. Входе проведенных социологических исследований и сравнительного анализа установлено, что доля вуза является значительной для ряда секторов потребительского рынка города.
The article offers the results of the statistical analysis directed on the definition of the role and place of Ukhta university in the structure of the city consumer market. The authors have made an attempt to depict the economic measurement of the thesis “Ukhta - the university city”. The approximate structure of students’ consumption is defined in the course of alongitudinal sociological study. The received materials became a basis for the comparative analysis with the data of the official statistics. It is established, that the share of Ukhta university is considerable for a number of sectors of consumer market of the city, especially in the sector of mobile communication systems.
