Технология создания студенческих фильмов при обучении иностранным языкам не имеет широкого распространения в Российских вузах, тогда как в зарубежной практике она успешно развивается и находит свое применение на различных уровнях обучения и в разных предметных областях.В статье анализируется практический опыт использования технологии создания студенческих видеофильмов в процессе изучения иностранного языка, описываются этапы работы над проектом и предлагаются критерии оценивания данного вида деятельности. Такие творческие профессионально-ориентированные проекты повышают мотивацию и потребность не только изучать язык, но и активно пользоваться им для решения академических и профессиональных задач.
