ENGINEERING EDUCATION: FORMAT CHANGE

Abstract

The necessity for changes in content and technology of engineering personnel training is discussed. The model of "new" engineering education has been developed and tested as a project at Siberian Federal University in order to find changing mechanisms in engineering personnel training. On the basis of this concept, the authors claim the necessity of complete change of educational process and crucial impact on students' educational experience.
