1973 - Moscow Higher Technical School (MHTS) named after N.E. Bauman, specialty “Computing”.

1976 - Postgraduate studies  in “Computer science” at Moscow Higher Technical School.

1976 - Candidate of Technical Sciences thesis "Investigation of the computer algorithms of problem solving in the theory of timetable (on the example of university classes timetable composition)”.

1995 - Academic title of Associate Professor at the Department of software and information technologies of Bauman MSTU.

1980-1996 - Head of the Department of the Research Institute of Higher Education.

1986-1990 - Adviser of the Department of organization and automation of the Ministry of education of Cuba.

1997-2005 - Deputy Director on scientific work of the Research Institute of higher education.

Since 2006 - Chief Researcher at the Federal Institute of Education Development under the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation.
