Education and Professional Activity

Zoya S. Sazonova graduated from Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology (MIPT) majoring in “Radiophysics and Electronics”. She did her PhD research at MIPT and on February 22, 1983 she defended her PhD thesis in Physics and Mathematics (PhD Diploma KD No.003604, Moscow dd. July 6, 1983).

On April 15, 1987 Russian State Commission for Academic Degrees and Titles awarded Zoya S. Sazonova a title of Associate Professor at Physics Department.

On October 17, 2001 the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation granted Zoya S. Sazonova a title of Professor at Physics Department.

On September 19, 2008 Prof. Sazonova became a Doctor of Education.

Prof. Sazonova dedicated her professional life to MADI. During many years of her work at the university, she has consistently held positions of an assistant, a senior lecturer, an associate professor, and for the last 15 years – a professor. Within 16 years she was a Deputy Dean of Engineering Pedagogy Department. Today Prof. Sazonova is a professor of MADI and chairs the Engineering Pedagogy section at the Department of Sociology. Professor Sazonova has an experience of working as a Dean for the Faculty of Advanced Training and a Director of MADI Engineering Pedagogy Center.

  5. Medal “In Commemoration of the 850th Anniversary of Moscow”;

  7. Diploma of International Society for Engineering Education “European Engineering Educator ING-PAED IGIP” in 05/02/2002.
  8. Merit certificate of Independence Committee on Learning Material Certification for the monograph “Methodology of Generation, Approbation and Maintenance of Education Materials” recommended as a basic teaching guidebook for training specialists in Pedagogy of Professional Education.
  9. Medal “In Commemoration of the 25th Anniversary of Association for Engineering Education of Russia”;
