Education

In 1975 graduated from the Department of General and Applied Physics of Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology (MIPT) with a degree in Radiophysics.

 

Degrees and titles

In 1981 defended a dissertation in MIPT and obtained the degree of Candidate of Physical and Mathematical Sciences.

In 1988 was awarded the degree of Associate Professor at MIPT’s Chair of General Physics.

In 2002 defended a doctor thesis on “Optimizing education quality management in the private (non-state) sector of higher education”. The same year was awarded the academic title of Professor at the Chair of Management of Russian New University (RosNOU).

 

Professional activities:

1975—1978 — post-graduate student at Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology (MIPT);

1978—1982 — Deputy Secretary, Secretary of MIPT’s Committee of All-Union Leninist Young Communist League;

1982—1985 — Associate Professor, Secretary of the Communist Party Committee at MIPT;

1985—1990 — Instructor, Consultant at the Department of Science and Educational Institutions, Moscow Municipal Committee of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union;

1990—1991 — Director of the Fund "Cultural Initiative";

1991—present — Rector of Russian New University (RosNOU);

1994—present — Chairman of the Board of the Association of Non-state (Private) Higher Educational Institutions of Russia.

 

Sphere of scientific interests at present:

-                    Issues connected with quality of education;

-                    criteria of assessment of higher educational institutions;

-                    energo-informational impact on human beings;

-                    research of radiophysical properties of radiofrequency signals, modeling;

-                    influence of innovative and scientific development on the government and society.
