1966 – Moscow Institute of petrochemical and gas industry n.a. I.M. Gubkin. Faculty of Radioelectronics and automation. Specialty “Industrial electronics”.

Academic degrees and titles

1971 – Candidate of Technical Sciences. PhD thesis " Structural and dynamic synthesis of downhole impact machines».

1976 – academic title of senior researcher in the specialty "Dynamics, strength and reliability of machines, instruments and equipment».

1984 – academic title of Associated Professor at the Department of applied mechanics.

Professional activity

In the period from September 1966 to February 1986 he worked as a junior, then senior researcher, assistant, senior lecturer, Associated Professor of applied mechanics. In 1986 he was transferred to the Department of machinery and equipment of the oil and gas industry as Associated Professor. In 1996 he was elected Professor. In 2019, he was re-elected for the 6th time by the Academic Council of the University as a Professor for the next five years.

Educational and scientific organizational activities

In 1979 he was appointed a head of the ACS Department of the University of Educational and methodical management of the University. Since 1983, Deputy, and from 1987 to 2009 – a head of the UMA. In 2009 he was transferred to the position of Advisor to the rector.

Since 2001 he was the Deputy Director for science of the Institute of problems of personnel potential (IPRCP) of energy complex of Gubkin University. From 2008 to 2016, he was an acting Director of IPRCP TEK, from 2016 – a scientific Director of IPRCP TEK.

Since 1914 – a member of the Council for professional qualifications in the oil and gas industry (SEC COG), since 2018 – an expert of the working group on digital economy of the National Council for professional qualifications under the President of the Russian Federation.
