Abstract
The paper considers the evolution of the state educational standards of higher education and the experience of leading Russian universities in the development and implementation of self-established educational standards. The peculiarities of creating their own educational standards in the various HEIs and the main differences from the federal state educational standards are identified. The trends in the development of educational standards at leading universities are determined. Attention is paid to the standards of master degree programmes in engineering and technology.

Abstract
The article presents the results of analysis of publication activity of applicants for Candidate of science degree, in 2 years before and after thesis defense of. In 2013, an applicant had in average 13 publications, among them 11 were articles including three in Enumeration of Higher Attestation Commission (VAK Enumeration). About half among those who defended thesis in 2010, were registered in eLIBRARY.RU resource. During the following years (2011-2014) 35% of those who have got the Candidate degree diplomas did not publish any articles registered in Russian Science Citation Index. Only 10% of candidates of science still continue an active research activities including writing articles.

Abstract
Prompt changes of a technosphere impose relevant requirements to all its infrastructure: in this regard, the question of engineering education mission becomes more and more actual. This article considers the main trends defining character and an orientation of engineering activity with relevant requirements to it. The problem of increase of the conflict between a traditional paradigm of engineering education and becoming alternative paradigm rises, and this is the cause of transition to new model of education in which the sociocultural vector forms a basis for understanding of deep world processes.

Abstract
The article makes an analysis of various world technologies of dual higher education. One of perspective forms of realization of dual higher technical education is using of opportunities of the corporate consortium similar to the consortium created on the basis of the Karaganda state technical university (KSTU). To reduce the terms of study and to except a temporary gap theoretical tutoring should be accomplished on the basis of Internet technologies in an evening form along with getting practical skills and abilities in real industry. The experience of the organization of the distributed education Internet-process in the network modes on technical specialties in KSTU is described.

Abstract
The article considers the problem of training highly qualified specialists in conditions of economic modernization in the direction of creating highAtech industries. It is shown that one of the reasons for the insufficient level of professional training of engineers in this situation is transition to a system of academic education of bachelors and masters. Abstract
The article presents the authors’ vision of transformation of the system of bachelors’ training for the sphere of social pedagogy. On the basis of theoretical analysis and the analysis of the educational experience of the university, the role of teaching practice in the construction of bachelors’ training for the sphere of social pedagogy is described. The data of empirical research (survey method) and the analytical materials reflecting the current state of social pedagogues’ training in the dynamics are presented. The authors substantiate the potential of professional probations as a means for implementation of educational process at Pedagogical University.

Abstract
Russian Federation and China have been involved into a longAstanding partnership and cooperation for decades. Both countries rely on advanced technological development and modernization of the educational system. The acknowledged instrument for cooperation in higher education is represented by professional university associations. Association of SinoARussian Technical Universities (ASRTU) established in 2011 features one of the first RussianAChinese associations in engineering training. Within a short period of time the association has confirmed its role as a new institution to join together efforts of the two nations in the evolution of higher education. The article deals with the history and the main activity areas of the ASRTU, and it also summarizes work undertaken since its creation in 2011.

The article considers the approaches to formation of social policy at technical university. Is shown that to achieve the main goal of the state social policy it is necessary to combine the efforts of the state and the efforts of all other subjects of the social sphere. Higher education is an institute of excellent importance for society and its development deeply depends on public support. It’s impossible to score a success with poor finance, bad infrastructure and without legal protection. As a result the quality of education steadily deteriorates. To rely on higher education as s solemn remedy to ensure future prosperity and wealth is a mistake. The other key factors are important for increasing social effect of education on wellAbeing, such as social family capital and parent’s income. The quality of education is closely connected with employer’s satisfaction with diploma holders qualification. The practice of employers polling is not so widespread in Russian regions as it is in other countries. The distant education is also of scrupulous attention. The main method in thearticle is the method of comparative analysis.

Abstract
Questions of the female higher education were actively discussed in the press in the second half of the XIX century. The analysis of editorials of the conservative newspaper «Moskovskiye Vedomosti» issued by M.N. Katkov, shows that the newspaper didn’t challenge the rights of women for studying at university, but considered this question indissolubly with a problem of formation of a system of highAquality secondary education for women. The "Moskovskiye Vedomosti" with deep arguments proved the need of serious preliminary preparation, obligation of a gymnasia course for girls, and also warned society against enthusiasm for «nihilism».

Abstract
The article contains the results of the author’s historicalApedagogical research aimed at forming a comprehensive vision of development of scientific-pedagogical school of Dorpat Professorial Institute. The phenomenon of scientific-pedagogical school is analyzed by the author in cultural-historical context of the 19th century as a kind of a system of prompt training of professors for Russian universities. The author presents the main features of this phenomenon. Using the method of historical simulation the author has made historical reenactment of Professorial Institute activities, which has been shown as a comprehensive pedagogical system. The article contains the characteristics of this system’s components, which conform to definition structure of “scientific-pedagogical school”: informatory, processual and evaluation-reflexive. The author marks out that the results of this model realization were followed in the work of Russian professors of a new formation: they continued the traditions of scientific-pedagogical school of Professorial Institute. It’s graduates have trained worthy students. Keeping the traditions of Russian scientificApedagogical school is one of important issues in the period of reformation of higher education in Russia.

The empirical basis of the article is a practical experience in implementing creative projects under the CDIO Initiative at Tomsk Polytechnic University for 2 years (4 semesters) in training bachelors majoring in «Quality Management». Abstract
If a person has a desire to remain an actual expert in the modern world, he has to update the knowledge, to study new directions and information technologies. Therefore there is a number of questions: How to carry out this process? Should an expert be engaged in self-education or complete courses in any educational center? The answers in many respects depend on the conditions and the quality of the educational process organized by training centers. The authors gave recommendations on application of an offered method of training to any software product. The main requirement to a choice of teaching methods is adaptation of courses to the requirements and practical problems of the customer. This article describes the teaching methods used in the educational center «Autodesk-OmSTU». The proposed method is based on a modular principle, easily expanded and modified for different courses.

Abstract
Teaching students in accordance with the federal state educational standards (FSES) requires new approaches to the realization of their final examination. This paper dwells on professional activity and requirements for students of engineering level of training (“Automobiles and automobile operation”) and bachelor degree (“Exploitation of transport and technological machines and complexes”). The final certification of bachelor students, the approaches to the formation of the themes and structure of a final qualifying work, their advantages and disadvantages are analyzed. According to the authors the optimal variant of the overall theme of a final qualifying work are is offered. The typical structure of a bachelor diploma work is presented.
